Our valued client is seeking to hire a Training and Development Manager to lead and grow their business centre. If you have any of the following training and assessor qualifications we want to hear from you (CPCS / CITB / EUSR / NPORS)

In this role you will have overarching control over the centre and the training that takes place there. Its main purpose being to upskill workers through comprehensive training strategies. It is important that training is developed to create a service that meets the needs of internal and external clients. This is an office based role but you will be required to work away from home occasionally so must be happy to do this from time to time.

Responsibilities:

·Control over the centre and the activities taking place

·Ensuring internal and external clients’ needs are met

·Establishing and managing customer relationships

·Managing costs and revenue working to budgets

·Ensuring the centre retains relevant training and assessor accreditation.

·Delivering success and profitability including a clear long-term strategy for the business

·Aligning costs to the budget and plan

·Managing a complex supply chain

·Continually pushing to deliver and improve

·Identify opportunities for growth

·Comply with GDPR

·Promote equality, diversity and inclusions.

About you:

·Excellent IT skills including MS Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint

·MS Project

·Can lead various projects that each have their own challenges and perform to a high standard

·Be able to negotiate and manage any conflicts

·Can make recommendations from conclusions drawn

·Can understand data and reports

·Excellent communication both verbal and written

·Can build strong working relationships with people at all levels within the business internally and externally

·Able to plan, implement and manage projects to time, budget and high quality.

·Strong decision maker and good judgement

·You have experience and knowledge of working within the construction training industry

Essential requirements/experience:

·Business management and leadership experience

·Have managed teams and individuals previously

·Have managed a project before effectively

·Can confidently deliver high quality presentations

·Customer focus

·You are ambitious with a clear drive

·Business management qualification

·Trainer & Assessor Qualifications (CPCS / CITB / EUSR / NPORS) (desirable)
