Our client is seeking to add a new Bench Jeweller to their team due to expansion.

This highly skilled role is seeking a craftsman who creates jewellery pieces by hand who will responsible for creating some of the most beautiful or valuable objects in the world.

As such, applicants must have an eye for detail as well as excellent craftsmanship skills, able to multitask effectively—you might be working on several different projects at once, each with its own unique requirements and deadlines.

  • Creating custom jewellery pieces based on designs provided by clients
  • Maintaining inventory of diamonds, precious metals, gemstones, and other materials used in jewellery making
  • Applying finishes to metals such as gold or silver in order to enhance their appearance and durability
  • Cutting and polishing precious stones in order to improve their appearance and durability
  • Resizing jewellery pieces by replacing missing stones or resetting them into new settings
  • Designing new jewellery pieces based on customer specifications and preferences
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work environment while following safety procedures during all phases of work
  • Skills in engraving would also be valuable
  • Knowledge of all gemstones and precious metals are essential

Part of the interview process will be a bench test which will take approx 3 hours
